About NZ Sauna

After extensive research by travelling to Sweden, Finland, Europe, USA and Australia, The Swedish Sauna Company Ltd was established when we discovered a lack of understanding in New Zealand of Sauna and Steam and the inablility to access quality equipment and advice.  

Our company name was chosen as initially most of our stock was imported from Sweden.  In January 2002 we changed our trading name to The New Zealand Sauna Company Ltd to reflect that our product is New Zealand made and we now sourced our materials and equipment from a wider international market enabling us to offer our customers a greater range of choice.

Whilst maintaining the traditional benefits and values of Sauna and Steam, The New Zealand Sauna Company is able to offer a range of kitset sauna models and bring you innovative and exciting design concepts with our custom built sauna and steam rooms. 

Over the years we have built up a reputation as New Zealand's premier manufacturer of Sauna and Steam rooms for both the domestic and commercial markets.
